Ignition Electrodes For Gas Boiler

There are usually two different types of electrodes, ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The ignition electrode is responsible for generating a spark to enable the burner to burn. The flame sensing electrode is responsible for detecting the presence of a flame in the burner. By this detection action, if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to retry ignition.

We recommend that all parts are installed by a fully qualified Gas Safe certified engineer. If you need to buy parts in bulk for some models, please feel free to contact us.
