• The central electrode is made of a unique fireproof material, Kanthal, which is resistant to high temperatures and electrochemical corrosion.
• The outer insulator is constructed from alumina ceramic, providing high mechanical strength, heat resistance, and high voltage resistance (up to 18kV) due to its high Al2O3 content.
• Some electrodes feature mounting brackets made of durable 304 stainless steel, ensuring a longer product lifespan.

How They Work:

Our ignition electrodes ignite gaseous fuels in gas burners by utilizing high voltage flashover. The central electrode is placed outside the flame, while only its tip is exposed to the flame. Additionally, the ignition electrode and ionization probes are commonly used together in the combustion chamber of gas-burning appliances, with the ignition electrode sometimes serving as an ionization probe as well. It is crucial to consult a professional engineer to determine the appropriate spacing between these components.

Types of Electrodes:

There are two main types of electrodes used in gas boilers:

1. Ignition Electrodes: These electrodes generate a spark to enable the burner to ignite and start the combustion process.
2. Flame Sensing Electrodes: These electrodes detect the presence of a flame in the burner. If no flame is detected, the boiler will initiate a retry ignition.
