ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) Pilot Burner, commonly known as ODS, is essential for gas appliances operating in unvented spaces. During combustion, the oxygen in the space decreases while carbon dioxide (CO2) increases. When the oxygen content reaches 16% to 17% or higher, discomfort may be experienced, and toxicosis can occur when the CO2 content reaches 4% or higher.

The ODS Pilot Burner ensures safe operation in unvented spaces by cutting off the energy source when the oxygen content reaches 18.5% to 19.5% and the CO2 content reaches 0.8% to 1.5%.
